Green Solutions saves 110 pounds of recyclables Green Solutions in conjunction with Maple City Recycling provided recycling bins this year for the Maple City Cruise night. Six 60 gallon containers were placed around the downtown with signs on them instructing cruise night participants to use them for recycling. Over the course of the evening the group collected 70 pounds of newspaper, 20 pounds of cardboard, 11 pounds of plastic, 6 pounds of aluminum and 3 pounds of glass. ~ Read More ~

Green Solutions will help Monmouth area events go green this year by introducing recycling. Green Solutions in conjunction with Maply City Recycling will have recycing receptacles available for the crowds for the first time at these annual community events.
Green Solutions will be at the Prime Beef Festival, September 3rd to 6th. The festival this year has a "green" theme so we will help them be truly "green." Also look out for Green Solutions in the Prime Beef Festival Parade on Wednesday, September 3rd! (Want to join us in the parade? Call the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce 309-734-3181 and sign up your green business or organization to be in the parade -- participation is free!)
